Homestead Valley

In 1866 Samuel Throckmorton, developer of Rancho Saucelito, built a hunting lodge on a site that was later bounded by Linden Lane, Ethel Avenue and Montford Avenue, and named it The Homestead. This structure was the source of the name given to the area of Mill Valley known today as Homestead Valley. |
